Steven Georgiou and Christina Ketchum Georgiou are a Californian husband and wife team who moved from San Francisco to the UK in 2012. Christina has a real passion for food and really missed the glorious Mexican flavours they’d fallen in love with in California. Between them, they decided to make it their mission to recreate this magic for the people of Kent. This was made possible by Christina’s refined palate and dedication to matching the exact flavours and aromas that create these authentic Mexican dishes, with a Californian twist. With Steven’s extensive experience of business and management, the dream team were able to bring California Cravings into being, where the food is all handmade with love and fresh ingredients.

From farmers’ markets and food festivals, the company gained such notoriety and success that it then became possible to open two permanent sites, one of which is still trading at The Coachworks in Ashford. The second site was quickly outgrown, leading to the current situation where deliveries are being made from the California Cravings base kitchen, where they can keep up with the constant demand for their glorious food.
