Grape- 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Producer- In 1888, in the picturesque Guenoc Valley sixty miles north of San Francisco, the famous actress Lillie Langtry bought a wine estate. Her substantial Langtry Estate survives to this day, and supplies the Guenoc wines, which are vinified here, with the core of the blends each year. Winemaker Eric Stine encountered the European classics in his native Michigan before a career beckoned in California, and the Guenoc range shows a lightness of touch and sense of finesse which reflects this experience.
Taste- A restrained, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with citrus and stone fruit aromas. The palate balances grapefruit and pear in a dry, medium-bodied style that can match a wide range of foods.
